Established in 2020 during the first lockdown, Method Radio is the only dedicated underground dance and hip-hop station in the North East of England and boasts an impressive roster of over 80 DJs and hosts playing and promoting all styles of underground electronic music.

The station focuses on the wealth of talent and musical knowledge based in the North East with regular contributions from across Tyne and Wear, Teesside and Northumberland featuring up and comers alongside some of the most established names (and ex-pats) from the North East scene.

But the station is not exclusively North East content, online radio provides the perfect platform for collaboration and so the timetable also features regular shows from across the globe including monthly specials live and direct from Berlin, Tokyo, Thailand, Barcelona and more plus simultaneous live broadcasts with partner stations like Global Funk Radio.

We also broadcast regular shows from leading names in the UK scene and feature some serious guest mixes, interviews and exclusives. So keep it locked!
